Re: [Lakeside: Hannah/Rey]
Hannah nodded. She nodded for so many reasons, and she needed to figure things out, and maybe this would help? She really, really didn't think it could make things worse, and Si would probably say she was too trusting, but she was feeling like undertow, and she needed to surface. "Okay," she said, and she nodded, and she watched as Rey brought over the teabags. But she felt the need to fill the silence, to explain, to say words. And maybe it was as much a need to explain as it was a need to say the things she couldn't really say aloud. "See, my family, and my friends, and people, they all decide if I'm me or not me, and I need to know myself, I think," she explained. Maybe it was a mess, or maybe it sounded messy, but she was feeling really messy right now.
She sighed, and she took one of the cups of tea and pulled it warm and close. "What is it you do? I mean, I know it's magic, but what kind? How will it work?" she asked curiously, the hard part over and done with now, at least for her.
