Re: [Lakeside Manor: Hugh & Atticus]
Hugh nodded, thinking of the wards Theo had put into the house before he left. Things Hugh really didn't understand, but he knew enough to know that he felt better knowing they were there. That it might offer some protection from those unknown things that go bump in the night. "I think knowing might be easier than not knowing - once you've got some knowledge. Might depend. Is it dangerous? Can I do anything about it, if not, maybe it's better not to know, at the same time... Well." He shrugged lightly.
"Well, if you're leaving the connections to me, you've got to put up with at least one connection, cause I like this. Having you in my living room, much as I still wouldn't mind learning my way around a sailboat," he added with a quick grin, one that brightened a little further at the mention of the agent. "You know I have one," he laughed. "But they do my contract checks, not my scheduling. That, I am currently unknown enough to continue doing myself. And..." he finished off the second brownie that he was not going to follow with a third. "Think there's always some friends that get to go straight to you, not your agent and I think you might qualify there. Let's do that meal, I'm done with my plays after the weekend. We could try anytime after that."
