Re: tandy & holly; the music store
Holly hadn't interacted with Bea very much, but he would've never called her nice. But, yeah, maybe that was about him... the here-him, and the shit that guy had gotten up to. There was also the fact that Bea didn't believe he wasn't her ex, had never believed it, and so he got it, right? Being shitty-pissed at him. If Noah cheated on him and then bailed? Holly would be insanely fucking pissed, too, right? Anyway, he didn't know Tandy had any kind of relationship with Bea. He knew Noah had dated her? And Bea had ripped him, Holly, a new asshole for stealing Noah from her, so there was that.
But, storeroom, right? It was knife demonstration time, and Holly had some trouble getting out of that chair-straddle, but not a lot. He walked up to the glowing knife, and tried to tell he they felt warm. Maybe they were kinda like medical lasers, yeah? Those were supposed to be cold. Anyway, he looked, watched, ducked his head closer to see the knife impaled in the wall. "Noah here saw him, yeah, but we didn't talk about it much," he said, because they hadn't. Noah had been really messed up about the night, and Holly hadn't been much better, right? So maybe neither of them wanted to focus on that stuff. "IDK. They were friends here, and it's kinda a sore subject for him." He didn't explain more than that, and he'd mostly gotten over his jealousy of his other self. "So, if there was no train for you, what was there? I mean, beyond a field."
But, the knife. "Fuck, no. I'm not touching it. You do it. Is it hot? Maybe it would burn me, but not burn you. It's still so fucking weird, though. Does it reabsorb? It should, right?" Fuck if he knew.
