Re: lakeside mansions: Dietre A. & Hugh C.
Hugh tilted his head, "yeah, I think it did have a corn maze."
It had been such a strange night. He had just barely moved to Repose and had thought that he wouldn't go at all until he realized that if costumes could be allowed then he wouldn't have to be seen as himself at all, and it was as good a chance as any to get out of the house and be around people.
"I just very definitely felt as if I became my costume that night?" He was quiet now, glancing out at the lake instead of looking over at Dietre. It wasn't the strangest thing that had happened since he moved here, and in some ways there was almost an innocence about it compared to things that had happened since. "I was a Prince, looking for his lost Princess," he explained, shaking his head slightly and finally looking over at Dietre. "It was shortly after I'd moved here, and I didn't have any... I didn't know much about Repose at all. I think the part that was strange was, that yes, I was dressed as a Prince, but I was very much still missing ... someone." A beat. "It was just a strange evening."
