Re: Milkshake Bar: Ren & Alex
Ren glanced over, and gave an approving nod at Alex. Approving because he liked Alex, and also because he'd very nearly just been a mask guy himself. Throwing together your own costume out of dry erase markers and white construction paper from your job and a pair of glasses really was pretty close to just grabbing the sparkly mask from the bin.
"Hey," he greeted him without much preamble. They talked over coffee sometime, and Ren occasionally popped into the comic book shop even though mostly he didn't read much in the way of comics. He'd gotten better about it recently as he'd come to realize that some of them did have really incredible stories and artists and so while he was still more likely to take home a book from the bookstore, he'd made an effort to branch out a bit.
"Chocolate pretty much certainly, but then I was trying to figure out if I was going pure, or throwing a bunch of stuff that's going to inevitably clog up the straw into it, and that can be annoying, but it can also make for a helluva good milkshake so."
He tilted his head towards Alex. "What're you thinkin?"
