Re: lakeside mansion: Hugh C./Aedan B.
Aedan took a moment, likely longer to him and shorter to Hugh, to take in the man's appearance. Whether they were in the dark, or here, with the promise of better light than what existed in his car, he could still appreciate the fine lines of his bones, the vest that caught the color of his eyes, and the shadow that rested upon his jaw. His hair grew slower than it had when it was human, and he could go days without shaving to achieve the same length.
Though when he'd awoken after he'd been sleeping for years, the beard was unmanageable, and he removed it as soon as he had the water, the scissors, and the razor to do so.
"Thank you," he said, accent catching on the vowels as he stepped inside. Hugh's home was more updated than his own, the wood brighter, and the massive wall of windows was not something he would have been able to tolerate in his own. Still, the home had a beauty that he could appreciate, a rawness, like new growth in spring. "Ah, yes. I took a guess to what you might like," Aedan said and offered the bottle out to Hugh.
"And I wanted to say thank you for hosting. Though they're doing an excellent job, my home is not quite ready for guests," he said with a little smile, that didn't quite show off all his teeth, but was in no way unfriendly. On the car ride home, Aedan had hinted, but he had no intention of making Hugh feel like prey within his own home, and without his leave to do so.
