Hugh nodded. "We're not going to talk about the number of days in the past year that I consumed more alcohol than real food. Cause there were some, and I know better, but sometimes..." He offered Dietre an empathetic look. He understood something about how difficult it could be to just do the basic things, and he did enjoy cooking. But some days just doing that was difficult, and it was easier to sit in front of a screen, or sleep. "I am, mostly, in a healthier place these days, but there have definitely been times I haven't taken care of myself so well."
He reached for the chocolate mug and whistled for Heart. "Sunday, and I love the idea of poetry, Dietre. Let's plan on Rebecca and some poetry of some sort, whatever you're feeling - And I'll make something for us to eat maybe. It's nice to have someone to cook for that isn't just me."
