Re: lakeside mansion; hugh c./dietre a.
Classics. Gothic horror. There were some notions there, if nothing else, Hugh thought they could always go with classic Hitchcock. Hugh tended towards musicals and romantic comedies more frequently, with a good selection of classic dramas in there too. Horror wasn't particularly his thing - although ironically the film he'd just wrapped in November had been horror. But gothic horror was something he could enjoy depending upon the particular iteration of it.
And when Dietre mentioned Rebecca just as Hugh had been thinking about Hitchcock films, he started slightly. "Have we?" He tried to remember back to the conversations over the forum. "We might have? Um, Hitchcock did a film version of the book back in the 50s. It's - um, when you said Gothic Horror it came to mind. I love the film, a lot, actually. It's black and white, so it's, you know, classic film stuff. I almost feel like I did talk to someone about Rebecca at some point, but I'm not placing the conversation - but I do really enjoy the film, so it's possible that it could have come up."
