Theodore/Open
After arriving with Hugh, Theodore had set up his own offerings to the festivities into the kitchen, left with a glass of wine and a few bits of cheese pilfered from Hugh's tray, and walking stick in hand more than being used (it was a good pain night - hooray), had appointed himself MC of Movie Festivities for the Near Future. Which is to say he was the first to find the television, and was promptly setting up Die Hard, because he had little liking or patience for either the overly-saccharine Hallmark variety of movie, or the cutesy claymation Rudolph fare. He was pleased to see he wasn't the first one to bring a copy, either.
He was dressed both down and up from his usual fare, with dark jeans in place of his usual slacks, but a vest worn over his usual button-down. As he got the movie started, he found a comfortable seat at the edge of the couch and put his bad leg up, leaning his walking stick against the armrest. He let himself just take in the comfortable buzz of conversation throughout the house before the movie started playing. While not unfriendly in the least, he was more wallflower than partygoer. He figured the best way to meet new people would be to let them be drawn to the movie and find him. It was an agreeable enough way to spend Christmas. And more importantly, not doing so alone.
