That he took the answer without question was a good sign, but Aedan didn't volunteer what he was, though someone with a shrewd mind could likely figure it out with nothing more than his behavior to go on. "Mmm, everything else. I've always thought witches were a part of magic, where other magic users are simply learning how to use it. Like natural skill versus learned skill." He paused as if taking a breath. "Witches have to hone their skills but they always have their ability." Certain other species had magic, but Aedan didn't mention them either, unsure what Hugh knew of them, or what he would be willing to entertain.
He turned slightly, regarding the man in his passenger seat. "Have you known many witches?"
