Re: NYC: Hannah & Hugh
Hugh adjusted the charcoal grey wool scarf around his neck, down into the lapels of his black coat as he glanced in her direction watching and appreciating the way she was working for the perfect words for her reaction. There'd been times all through the play where he'd glanced over too, because there was a thrill in sharing something you enjoyed with someone who you suspected would enjoy it equally as much. And when the words came he grinned, delighted with the words.
"You can think whatever you like about it," Hugh told her sincerely. "I know all the appropriate things to criticize about the story as a romance, but at the end of the day I think there is something about that..." he stopped talking for a moment, shifting to avoid a group of people on the crowded New York streets. "I don't know, some people have a magnetic pull, and maybe it's not good or healthy, but you lean it into anyway, and I feel like that's part of it isn't it? And Raoul is... traditionally the good guy? Maybe?"
He glanced to the side, looking down to watch her for a moment. "Do you want to grab a drink and maybe some food before we go back? And tell me more about the something," he encouraged. "The Phantom might be captivating, but could you resist All I Ask of You?"
