Del smirked slightly. "I won't pick it up for the good night-time reading," she promised. "And I think I might keep it on its own shelf so it doesn't contaminate the rest of the books with its pessimism." She was mostly joking, but there was a bit of truth with it. One just never entirely knew about magical books.
She glanced around. "It's cozy," she told him, "and you can't argue with the view at all, so maybe you just spend more time looking at the lake than at the house?" She glanced around the room, this time slowly looking at the possible needs in terms of spells. "Walls, and then the windows look like they might not be overly insulated - am I wrong?"
