Theodore hadn't gotten to see much of this part of the Capital - to be fair, he spent most of his time in Hall Way - but he was sorry he hadn't explored the non-magical areas of town some more since his arrival. "Well, I've never been here," he responded, as they waited on their table. "So I'll have to pin my expectations to yours."
This was really nice though, he thought, following Hugh and leaning a bit more on his walking stick than usual. Air travel always played hell with his leg, and it had been a short enough turnaround that he hadn't fully recovered from the trip out to London before having to deal with the return trip. He'd kept to his traditional dress casual for the evening, opting for a dark blue button-down and black slacks, with a black overcoat he'd gladly given up at the coat-check.
He sighed a bit in relief as he sat, a little too eager to take the weight off his leg and settle in for an evening of good food, drink, and conversation. It was the sort of thing he both enjoyed and did not get near enough of, and seeing his old classmates had certainly rekindled that need. "Don't worry too much about me; after the trip my body still isn't sure about what time it is right now," he chuckled. "And thank you for inviting me along - and for providing plenty of entertainment already, I should mention. I thought you did brilliantly, Hugh. It was a very engaging performance, and I enjoyed it quite a bit."
