Re: [Hall Way: Delyth & Patrick]
"One must hope, or you might become jack with the beanstalk or however that goes," she laughed. It had been too long since she had read children's stories. Not having any of her own - which at this point seemed for the best - she'd had no reason to.
"It was for the best," she was not about to dwell on it. It had been for the best, and she was honestly a little relieved to be single and in Repose. Maybe that wasn't how one was supposed to feel after a divorce, but in this case it felt rather like the chains had been lifted. "Keeping busy is definitely helpful, and between the different things I've been working on, I feel as if I've done rather a good job of that."
She fell into step beside him, wondering about the doctor he came to, but deciding that he would divulge further details if he wished to. She hardly knew him well enough to pry. "I started with a selection of somewhat basic things," she told him. "You know your pepper up potions, and some pain remedies. I thought I would see what sold, and if there were requests for other things and then go from there. What are you looking for? Or in the market for? I could always sell direct," she added with a smile.
