Re: [Hall Way: Delyth & Patrick]
The name flicked the switch of not quite certain into 'oh I should have known' category. She smiled more widely, and took his hand. "Of course! That's why you look so familiar, but I couldn't place you. I've clearly been away too long," she laughed and stepped out of the way of the door so that she could continue talking to him for a moment, but not block the entry to the shop.
As she stepped aside she sussed him up, quickly, perhaps triggering back some memories of her own. Those mostly were of a boy much younger and therefore somewhat shorter than the man that stood before her. He'd grown up, and if she'd met him in the interim she couldn't say that she recalled it. Her visits back had always been so brief and mostly spent with her parents or in the shop. She'd missed more than she cared to think about being away as she had been, and there was a part of her that resented the way her husband(plural really) had kept her away from Repose for so long. Yes the city had seemed exciting, and perhaps she'd even enjoyed aspects of it, but it was still not her city.
"Is someone else managing the B&B now?" She asked, instead. "I haven't been over there yet. I did take the art store over from mother, and it's open again. I don't think you've been in yet, have you? Or have you been and I completely forgot because my mind is still a bit in the moving and new business chaos?"
