Re: [Hall Way: Delyth & Patrick]
Meeting people again had been a bit of a slow-going process for Delyth. She'd spent most of her early time moved back trying to get the shop back in order. It had been closed or so poorly cared for during most of her mother's illness that this had been a piece of work in and of itself. And for Del as well, it had been something of a blessing. The time spent alone cleaning, sorting throwing out things that would never begin to sell, choosing what to pull back in, and what displays to make -- all of this had been a sort of therapy after the divorce, and she'd been glad of it.
But now she'd been here for a while, and outside of those who had come into the shop, and those she had spoken to on the forums, she really had not done very much in the way of socialization, and it was time for that to change. Even if that hadn't been her intention when she'd come over to the Capital. In fact, while she'd known it was a possibility that she might meet someone that she knew, she hadn't intended to - outside of the potion shop owner of course - and now that she was faced with someone that seemingly knew her, this was another flip of circumstance because she didn't really recognize him.
He looked vaguely familiar of course, in the way that sometimes customers did and his connection with the art shop must make him a customer - did she know him from before that? She tilted her head curiously. "Yes, in Repose," she offered and then extended her hand. "Delyth Davies, I own Davies Drawing & Design now," she told him. "Unless you're thinking of an art shop here, and then I must disappoint you."
She stepped outside of the door but offered him a warm smile that suggested she wasn't bothered by talking for a few moments.
