Re: [Recovery: Marta & Hannah]
Hannah had never driven a car. Amy had, but Hannah had never tried, and at this point it was one of those things where shew as afraid she wouldn't be able to. She wasn't really sure if she wanted to be Amy or if she didn't want to be Amy, and so it was better not to try, because she really didn't know if she wanted to fail or not. So it had been the bus, long and slow and with stop and stop and stop, but she liked watching people, and she'd had a lot of chance to do that on the drive to this pretty place.
She tried to imagine Si here, but she was having a really hard time doing that, though it did bring to mind one trip with Molly to a rehab facility, and they'd thought it was going to stick that time.
But she blinked those thought to the back of her mind, if not entirely away, and she watched Marta with the tablet. The tap, tap, tap of Marta's fingers was soothing in the way of repetitive things, and Hannah could've almost curled up there and slept. She got tired, just like everyone else, and she slept and needed sleep, and the place was cool and the chair was comfortable. So, little, by little, by little, she curled back into the chair again, though she could still see Marta's tablet and the words there.
"Seizures? Is that something that can happen?" She didn't know much about drugs, and that was deliberate. She'd always wanted to close her eyes and pretend, to not see, and now she was thinking about seizures in this very real way. "Brain damage? I didn't know... Can they fix it?" Fix was probably a bad word, but it was the first word that came to mind. "How do they help?" she asked, amending.
