Re: [Recovery: Marta & Hannah]
Marta was still working to get to the point where she could realize that other people's actions didn't necessarily have anything to do with her - even when they affected her. She wasn't quite able to maintain it yet, but it was one of the things that was (slowly) being worked on by her doctor. So once she had the chance to think about it, she would realize that Hannah likely hadn't been avoiding her specifically, but was actually living her own life in a city and down that was a good two hours away by car, and even longer if a person had to use other means of travel. But for the moment, she was glad that Hannah was here too, and she was able to let the feeling creep slowly over herself.
She'd held up the tablet so that Hannah could read the answer to her first question, but there were two more that followed, accompanied by expressions moving across Hannah's face that were only a little bit difficult to map. She watched for a moment, gesturing for Hannah to relax back into her chair, before moving to type more on the tablet, her fingers making a hollow tap with every "keystroke" against its surface. And after a few moments of focus on that, she held it up again.
i'm fine here. they're good. nothing bad is going on. doctor thinks sezures? from the pills. gave me a mri. some of my brain isn't right. damage? i can think and write words, but can't get them out of my mouth. yet. they have someone helping me.
Marta watched as she held up the tablet, resting it on the armrest of the chair so it wouldn't waver too much, waiting for any reactions Hannah might have.
