"There are yes," Hugh laughed. "I've seen one, like once - the whole yachting thing." He wasn't really so much of an outdoor person, even though he supposed it was difficult to live where he did and never get any outdoors. It was just so there and easy to get to. Sort of like the lake here, if he were honest.
"Well, and I think I mentioned, but I'd not made much of an effort for a good portion of the time I was here," Hugh admitted. "So, it's really been only recently that I've been trying to get to know people, or really getting out much at all beyond shopping for essentials." It was no wonder he'd been lonely when he stopped to consider his life choices. And it hadn't likely been good for him, or for Hannah to put all of his social needs on her. Maybe if he'd bothered to get out a little more frequently he'd have realized sooner that it wasn't going to work and kept from putting both of them through all of that.
Hugh raised an eyebrow, but he glanced back towards the kitchen and looked back, a smile playing at his lips. It did feel like something from the movies. "I think in the movies they have a sound crew that amplifies the actors mics and runs the water track very low," he mused. "There aren't too many," he noted. "I tried to clean as I went, but we could put them in the dishwasher if you want. And test whether or not it's realistic to keep conversing while cleaning dishes," he added with a grin.
