"If that's the case, I should certainly be able to make it," Theodore said with a nod. "And you'll have to let me know what you're making for dinner, so I can bring something appropriate to accompany it."
Theodore took Hugh's hand and got to his feet, the other stabilizing him with one hand on his cane. It hadn't been a devastating injury by any means, and he knew if he put in more time and effort when it came to his physical recovery that he might be able to eventually walk without his cane, but given that it was also his wand, he hadn't bothered. "Jamie and I were always rather insular. Always traveling, and our time spent at home was usually with each other, and with Elaine. It didn't leave a lot of time for making many friends outside of one another. We would travel to see our old school friends, sometimes, but again: more traveling, planned, certainly less spontaneous." He laughed a little. "I'll be certain to drop in on you at wildly inappropriate times so you're able to recapture that feeling."
