Re: Wainright Manor: Iris M/Manning T/Misha B/Damian W
Misha, he reckoned he was here for support, and he was dressed accordingly, not drawing attention to himself as he came on down in time to see Damian greeting the folks that were like family some, least through their child and by extension. Truth was, Misha was worried. He didn't know a thing 'bout these people, excepting the fact that Iris worked at the local bakery once, and that meant he didn't reckon he had a clue what they were 'bout to walk themselves into. He was protective of Damian and plenty, and new folks fretted him some, on account of most folks didn't take the time to realize Damian was a whole lot younger than he looked.
But he was hoping for the best, seeing as Damian needed family and real awful. Damian, he didn't say it, but Misha knew he longed for his daddy and his momma, and this town wasn't real good at keeping folks here and grounded.
Tall and slim, his build wiry and real appropriate for ballet, Misha landed on the bottom step on light, quiet feet that wore shoes that were nondescript and white. He let Damian walk the folks through to the dining room, and he smiled as he sat in the space next to Iris, as indicated. "I'm Misha," he offered. "It's real nice of y'all to come here," he said, his accent not quite as thick as it'd been once, but something that certainly stood out in Repose. "I reckon we should get to know each other," he suggested helpfully, since it would give something to talk 'bout. "Have y'all been here real long?" It seemed a harmless enough opener, and he smiled reassuring at Damian and refrained from dousing the entire table with a warm, positive feeling. Course, he could've known just how long everyone had been here, and what they'd been up to, if he just reached for it, but he didn't. He didn't go looking for auras and lights and indications of whether Iris and Manning weren't human, neither, on account of this wasn't 'bout him, and his curiosity could just keep itself quiet. This was for Damian. "I came here from New York a few years back," he offered, "and 'fore that I was out in Kentucky. I was born there."
