Re: Tandy/Alex: the comic book store
Tonight is an excellent reading night. [Tandy looked around the empty treasure-trove that was the store with the kind of confirmatory nod that was small scale but content with the statement as fact. Tandy was definitely leaving the stack behind, because that was the point of asking if Alex would hold onto them, so that certain issues could be clarified. He reached out and touched the corner of one of the Saga comics, and shunted them back across the counter to Alex.
A moment of startled surprise, which on Tandy really only looked like raised eyebrows.] The place looks like ass. Not the clothes. [Clarification, but the guy pinched out the corner of the neck of his shirt, and tugged. Because it was illustrative of the vis a vis, 'brand'.]
Later, Alex. [Because he had come with a mission, and the mission was temporarily aborted. He smiled, and he saluted the kid clutching the coffee like a lifeline and he walked out of the store to the chime of the bell, sauntering on long, thrift-denim clad legs.]
