The Chamberlain's Men: Hugh & Mason
Hugh raised an eyebrow, and smirked before he took a drink. The sarcasm almost came as a relief, it was light, and it felt normal, and talking to strangers - or near strangers - in a bar, even if he had no interest in hooking up with anyone for the night, was exactly the sort of thing he needed more of in his life.
He considered the club in a scan of the room that echoed Mason's, before turning his gaze back to the man across from him. "People get lonely," he shrugged and there was the definite air of a man who had been there before. "They get desperate and they hook-up with a stranger thinking it'll be satisfying enough. And sometimes it is."
