The Chamberlain's Men: Hugh & Mason
This earned an out and out grin as Hugh considered the design briefly. "I think you won, regardless. I'm not a t-shirt person, generally, but maybe I'll consider it for morning yoga." Because why not. It was amusing, at the very least, and it seemed soft enough, if it was roomy enough to move in, then he'd wear it on the docks while he did yoga, although sadly it was unlikely anyone would get to enjoy the vaguely absurd aspect of it.
Hugh acknowledged the drink with a nod and reached for it. He'd been drinking surprisingly little over the past few weeks. After drinking himself silly the night Hannah had broken up with him, he'd hardly reached for it at all, another not typical in a string of not-typicals that was enough to increase anxiety if he stopped to think about it, and so he didn't, instead accepting the second drink, because after all that was part of why he was here, and taking a sip. "Good lord let's not have that," Hugh laughed. "Consider yourself one of the first people I've used Hugh with since I decided to go back and therefore no grudges necessary."
Hugh sat the glass down, running his fingertip around the edge. Maybe it was at least partially difficult when who you were felt so much like shifting sands, because who he'd been prior to the murder and the trial felt very different than who he'd been after, and what he felt like now seemed very different from what he'd been when he arrived in Repose, but maybe he was pulling some of those pieces together, and as he'd told Hannah, Jeremiah felt like who other people wanted him to be and Hugh felt like who he was. He could still remember having told his mother that he wanted to be called Hugh, and having felt much more like himself when she'd agreed. Funny how a name should matter at all. "That's the plan from here on out," he straightened his shoulders almost imperceptibly, and he flashed Mason a quick, thoughtful smile. "I wasn't meant to hide."
"It was unnecessary... but thank you. They're clearly talented and I always enjoy watching someone who knows their work so well."
