Re: [Dream Training]
Eames was beginning to get the impression she would turn out his pockets and shake him for answers and he still wouldn't be able to supply them. He didn't know all the ins and outs, it had never been essential and Eames had broadly trusted who he was in dreams with to know their ins and outs. Arthur would. "It would be difficult to do. The idea is you pick something odd. Something altered. Like a weighted dice, or something, where no one could get it precisely right, darling."
He didn't have the maths. It was just how it worked. "Some of it is the drugs. Some of it is just how willing the mind is to dream in that way. It isn't whispering, but you might pre-load the dream, bump into someone, give them an impression they'll turn into the dream itself. You don't write it down, darling. You dream it."
She didn't sound like a liar. He believed her, but it was an observation Eames was very rapidly taking in, and his eyes moved quickly from thing to thing, "I can change me in a dream, I can change what you see. But projections are projections. They're your subconscious, I can't change that. Why are you thinking of puppets?"
