Re: Hannah & Jeremiah; Jester's Court
He did as he was told, pressing away the dark shadows, and uncertainties of the night, and instead kept himself focused on the touch of her fingers in his, as he stepped forward. Would it really come alive at night? A few short months ago, Jeremiah would not have believed it - thought it only stories that people made up - but that was before he'd moved to Repose. Before werewolves and vampires and stories about the lake and strange parties on Halloween eve... before those things he wouldn't have believed it, but now, maybe he almost did. Maybe.
At her question, his lips pulled into a smile, but he didn't open his eyes. He didn't know for certain what he believed they would find. In truth, it might all be broken rides. Perhaps drunks or homeless or druggies. Or maybe there'd be something more than any of those things.
He turned towards where he could feel her, his eyes still closed, and he slipped his fingers through hers, running palm to palm as their fingers threaded together. "What do you want to see?" He asked softly.
