He dug around in his vest pocket for a pack of cigarettes and pulled one out, but he didn't light it just yet, instead he considered what she'd said. He wasn't certain if he wanted to believe in ghosts. It felt a little as if he could be haunted enough even if there weren't any real ones, but if there were - it seemed likely that he could get haunted. On the other hand, it seemed likely they might be, along with vampires and god only knew what else in Repose.
