Dinner: Athelstan and Ragnar
"It isn't something I would show people, is it?" Ragnar smiled. "I had people I had to leave an impression on. But you know as well as I do that it slipped for you. My feelings for you- everyone knows of them. Everyone knew-" Back then. Ragnar had gotten caught up. Back then. Not now. But now no one would bat an eyelid. He could go on the town forums tomorrow and tell them he was in love with his friend and people would sympathise or not care at all.
"A cruise north. Or we can fly there, see the country, spend as much time as we need there. And then go on our cruise." He could write whilst they were away, his position at the museum didn't demand his presence constantly, he could still work whilst they were away. "We can go anywhere you want. We can go and see where your God was born. We can go and see where other gods were born. The Greeks and the Romans. We can go wherever you desire."
He laughed gently because no, no, he had always been very tactile with Athelstan. He had never resisted, never even tried to turn away from temptation. "I would not," Ragnar agreed. "It isn't my way. I like my lovers to enjoy themselves with me. If I took you to bed it would be because you wanted to be there, because you asked to be there."
