Re: Dinner: Athelstan and Ragnar
Ragnar didn't want to mention how jealous other men had been of Athelstan. He didn't know if it was because he was in love with Athelstan, he was sure many of them didn't wish for him to take them to bed, and didn't desire for him to be in love with them, but they were jealous nonetheless.
"I made you a part of my family because that was where you were meant to be. You were meant to be mine. And I would do whatever it took to achieve that. Your freedom and your inclusion in my home-"
His hand ran over Athelstan's leg for a moment, resting heavily on his thigh. "-there is no one as silly as a man in love. And I am sure I will be more silly now you are back."
Ragnar picked up his cutlery, finally, and started on his dinner.
"A list would be good. We can go on a cruise, as we both love the sea. And boats. I have not been on a cruise-" he hadn't thought he'd be able to deal with it. Despite his job, there were small things about his past that were too much for him to deal with. But with Athelstan beside him- "A cruise we can cover many different places. We will get a room with a balcony so we can listen to the ocean whilst we-"
Ragnar paused, eyes wide, cheeks flushed as he realised what he was implying. A shared room. A shared bed. He drew a breath and looked at his food. "Balconies beside each other."
