[bookshop: ren & elijah]
Ren couldn't say he loved the feeling of the stifling, but he still wasn't convinced it was any sort of nefarious intention behind it. That didn't mean it couldn't be dangerous, but just he didn't feel it. He stifled a sigh of frustration as he moved forward plucking a few additional books off the edge to add to the stack before he headed to the counter. He left the books near the register and nodded to them. "If there's anything that doesn't look good, you can set it aside?" He suggested as he reached for beans.
Again, there wasn't much in the way of guidance granted by what he was being told, which left Ren at the mercy of his own decision. He supposed that he'd just have to make a pick. He pulled aside two pounds of beans. The first one with notes of citrus and the second a more earthy roast. They were completely different and if Elijah preferred one over the other, he might not like the other one much at all, but at least one would probably hit right.
"Do you want them ground or do you have a grinder?"
