The chocolate croissant was never a bad guess. Sure there was the occasional person who didn't like it, but most did, and even if they ended up choosing something else in the end, it was usually a good starting place. Ren rang up both the croissant and the coffee, putting the croissant on a plate for her as he did so.
"Good," Ren nodded. "I've been here... well over a year now I guess. Not much, but a bit over." It didn't seem like it some ways, and it felt like he'd lived here much longer in others.
