"Ah, Jamie," Ren gave him a inclusive smile and stepped back just slightly so that all of them could be included in the conversation.
"So, this," he waved a hand at the stage area. "Needs to become this," he handed out the stage design. "The nice thing about this play is we're looking at minimum in the way of set changes. The different pieces are all available at the same time, and lighting will direct the audience's attention. We're also looking at period design, so nothing too modern, or it'll look out of place. We've got enough money to do purchasing if we need to for props, but the first part really is going to be to put together the flats for the backdrop, make certain we have windows in the right place, figure out how we'll do the curtain for the memories at the beginning..."
He glanced around. "I think once we get the flats up, we can start thinking of furnishings and painting and stuff. Or pulling in other things if we don't want to paint. I want us to keep it simple - the idea of the thing is more important than a direct resemblance, if that makes sense?"
