Re: [Orchard: Bea & Holly]
Okay, so maybe he had some things in common with the guy here, because Holly wasn't about apologies. He didn't do apologies well. He wasn't really a nice guy, and apologies didn't come easily, mostly because he wouldn't mean them if he said them. But this was important, apologizing for the questionable version of himself, because doing the porn thing without consulting one's spouse was utter bullshit. Holly was all about empowerment and owning your own body, but being in a relationship meant sharing decisions. So, yeah.
"A doctor can't help me, Bea. I'm not insane. If I am, the military will probably make me see one, right?" Right, which he didn't actually want to think about.
But no one had called her, and that was good. He was clinging to that, because it was good. "Okay. Good. Good. Maybe they got whatever they needed when they talked to me." And, okay, Holly wasn't empathetic at all, but he noticed how her eyes went distant. "No one here sees me with Noah, not like that. He'd lose his job, so we don't do anything where anyone can see. You don't need to worry about that. Um... what do you want to tell them? I'll follow your lead on this one."
