ooc: no worries!
The young man seemed different than anyone that Jeremiah had met. Granted, this was Repose, and now a larger city, which is where he'd been before, but even so, he seemed a little odd. Particularly when he mentioned eating worms. Jeremiah looked over curiously, not certain if Wren was actually serious about it. And as he glanced over, it occurred to him that the young man was not dressed entirely as one might expect for being out digging for worms. And it seemed more believable to consider that maybe he was going to go fishing, but this wasn't... fishing. Eating wasn't fishing.
"It's no bother," Jeremiah offered with a smile. "Do you have a favorite type of tea or cocoa that you like? I don't have milk to do proper cocoa, but I've got the stuff you mix with water, which isn't ideal, but it's simple enough to fix. I used to be a barista," he confided with a smile. "So, I am used to making people all sorts of hot drinks."
He bit down on his lip, considering. "Can you get them somewhere else? It seems a bit cold to be out digging in the morning."
