Jeremiah listened, blinking at the mention of Repose. There was the sort of frantic bubbling anxiety that popped up at the idea that she might recognize him somehow, and he pushed it back away. It was the sort of thing that really he thought too highly of himself, didn't he? It hadn't been that big of a story, not really. So instead he bit his lip and considered the hand stuck out to him for a moment.
There was a heartbeat and then he took it, reaching over with a firm handshake. Meeting people in the entertainment industry was nothing new after all, even if this was a different form of entertainment than he'd typically had. For an instant it maybe felt as if he wouldn't give her his name, and then he nodded shortly: "Jeremiah." His lips twitched in an almost smile for an instant. "Although I'll answer to Mister Eighties if you want."
He dropped the hand, slid it into the pockets on his trousers as he kept his eyes on the girl - Sadie. "I don't come here often, or I haven't I suppose is a better way to phrase it, but maybe I'll come by again." A pause and he glanced off in the general direction of Repose. "I'm recently moved into the area," he told her. "I haven't really worked out a routine yet so much. What's the Carnival like?"
