Sadie was pleased as punch to see him sway, even if it was just barely so. It still reminded her of the really tall sunflowers, the kind that swayed like he did in the rolling breezes of autumns approach. She also happened to think that sunflowers didn't get enough credit for that. Sure, everybody likes to give it to daisies, and sure daisies did look real nice with a wind running through them, and everybody knew dandelion seeds in the air. Sunflowers though, they were her favorite of the dancing flowers.
She was glad to see him smile some too, and she greeted that with a delighted chirp of her own when he complimented her playing. Those were always nice to hear and, maybe t'was the fact that he hadn't asked for something regular, but Sadie was none too bothered to pay him the extra bit of time.
"S'kind of ya to say." She shined real bright. "An I do. Well. I do now." She'd never been good with short sentences or succinct details, even if Damian's guidance had been a help. "Few days a week like, but play regular down at the Carnival in Repose too." She never missed an opportunity to plug the place, finding it downright wonderful. "Should be getting a stage on act down there real soon too." Why not sweeten the pot, if he'd fancied her playing as much as he'd said, but then it was time to veer off the road of business and the types who threw in the quiet money versus that which chimed and rattled. Now it was time to just be personable.
"M'Sadie." The violin was grabbed around the neck in the same hand that held the bow and the opposite was stuck out to him. "And what about you, 'less you jus' want me to call you Mister Eighties?" The latter was carefully worded as a question, not a suggestion. "And you come through here often? Could be I'll have to learn some more big hair songs on the violin if so."
