Re: log: adrian/wren - adrian's house
"Oh!" Wren exclaimed at that, scenting the air like a hungry dog, completely missing the joke there. "You are doing really good for owning a house for the first time!" he added enthusiastically, although there wasn't much about Wren that wasn't enthusiastic at that moment. It was a wonder he wasn't bouncing off the walls and then into Adrian in his pure delight at being invited over.
He followed Adrian into the kitchen and took a seat when one was indicated, watching in pride and pleasure as Adrian made his flowers at home in a makeshift vase. "They look so nice!" he exclaimed, studying the little placement like he hadn't picked the flowers himself. "Please, may I have some water?" he asked, not quite sure what other drinks were available and not knowing enough to ask for them had he known. "I have been okay! I met some more friends and took a bath not in the lake and I got some clothes-" he pulled at the front of his top in demonstration. "-I have been very lucky! How are you, how have you been Adrian?" he asked back, smiling.
