Brian wasn't sure of much of anything right now. His life hasn't been the way it had once been, but he knew that Wormtail might know more on the state things than he had. He worried something bad had happened to his mother. She hadn't returned in months and his worries were only deepening.

Once the servant had let Peter into the manor, he lead Peter into the parlour where Brian sat in complete darkness. He hadn't opened up windows because noone was here to enjoy the sunlight with him. The manor had grown cold because not even fires had been lit. "Sit," he said, his vioce sounded final and radiated throughout the empty home.

"I have questions in which I wish to ask you. They have nothing to do with you, but since you don't get out much, You may know something about it. And if you lie to me, Peter, you will regret it," Brian's voice never faultered from his cold and noncaring tone. He knew how to fake his worries.
