jyuukoi	3:34a	I just read the very beginning of a Klaus/James fic. Accidentally of course, because I just was perusing this Eroica fanfiction archive (and actually stumbled on some pretty good ones) and didn't notice that it was a Klaus/Others until I skilled to the end. Then I was like "OH MY GOD BUT KLAUS HATES JAMES!" It made me want to cry, that is after I blew my brains out. I am usually quite amenable to alternative pairings even if I don't know them.. but Klaus/James didn't rest well with me because it in fact is very much reaching (Dorian/James isn't.. Klaus/James, well it is.) Now I need a good dose of Klaus/Dorian smut to banish the mental image completely. In the sims game I am playing, Dorian has a habit of watching Klaus while he showers, and making a 'grrrowl' sound. It's because he's checking out Iron Klaus's iron ass. It was still amusing when I caught him doing it. Yes, Klaus is a fine specimen of a man, will be even more fine of a specimen when he reaches 'physical perfection' that can only be attained through martial arts. (Well, I guess the surprised kitten is cuter.) I’ve been having a hard time with Farscape fanfic (first step to making a story readable: Find: “half-breed”; Replace: “Scorpius”) but I’ve been enjoying vids. Particularly comedy vids, like this Scorpius/Braca one, or Scorpius as the Grinch. Man, I wish I’d been in the fandom when the show aired… I love it very much but there’s not really any kind of outlet for my enthusiasm. Active fandoms are a lot more fun. nanthimus	11:20p	Wow, look, it's an actual UPDATE type thing OKAY. So, Black Friday was actually pretty anti-climactic, which was just fine with me. However, EVERY DAY AFTER IT HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF HORRIBLE OMG. People, seriously. Just. Just go away. GO AWAY. :| Also, I wasn't able to get a lappytoppy like I had planned, which was a downer. I was bitter, not gonna like. Still, it ended up being a good thing. I mean...I really don't have that kind of money to spend. So I bought a PSP (whaaaaaat, I said I didn't have that kind of money to spend - the kind of money a PSP requires is much lower okay!) and one little game. ( Spoilers for Cloud, Tidus, and Cecil's Odysseys, as well as general DISSIDIA gameplay ) In other news, I have been quietly freaking out over Yuletide (WHAT WAS I THINKING) and wrangling tags (ugh, wait, why did I choose a fandom where everyone only has a first name?!). LIFE IS EXCITING. Oh, hey, fic recs. Allure of Honey, FF: Dissidia fic by Sinnatious. Cloud winds up in an outfit he swore he would never wear again. Crossdressing. Everyone/Cloud. This fic. THIS FIC. I lol'd A LOT. Poor Cloud. <333333 Made for Much, FFXII fic by Original-Elfkin. Balthier is tired of the Westersands. Tired of the heat, tired of the sand stuck in every place, tired of his itchy 5 o'clock shadow. But a puzzle involving Vaan presents an entertaining distraction from his troubles. Pre-slash BalthierXVaan. Another one that made me laugh, plus I really, really like the characterizations. I guess lulz are my main source of entertainment, what can I say. jyuukoi	4:36p	: This entry has been brought to you by TEH HOMOSEXUAL : I unfortunately do not have an icon gayer then Cecil but be assured that when I post with this icon, whatever it is that I am going to blog about is going to be 100% homosexual! And oh boy it is. It started with the fact that I kept getting yahoo news feeds about Adam Lambert's oh so shocking AMV performance. I mean the critics were really harsh and so okay, I don't normally follow American Idols, in fact I generally and purposely try not to because to me American Idols is really just very.. generic.. But I decided to download the album, y'know.. just to see if it was any good. It is, my friends, the most homosexual album on the face of the planet. No seriously, it is. And "For Your Entertainment" must be the king of all homosexual songs. The line "I'm gonna ride you until you blow"? yeah, that gave me a few warm fuzzies inside. So yes, I really do like the album alot and most of it has been tagged for "my favorites" on my ipod. I was giggling over the song all the way home from work where two muses were expressly fighting over who got to use the song. We had a winner but there was alot of really dirty fighting involved and loser went home to said lick his wounds. OH WELL. It's a really great dirty song, it really is. Well worth that people's sensibilities were sacrificed in the making of the song. You know what, good on him. The world needs a little more homoeroticism. torino10154	8:12a	A Rec + Fest Guessing Game I rec'd this fic last year and I will again because it's my favorite holiday fic bar none. If you haven't read jadzialove's Humbug I must insist that you do sometime between now and the New Year. It's an absolutely perfect take on A Christmas Carol. I'll refund the purchase price if you don't enjoy it. :P As everyone's mentioned the fests are starting. I have three anon fics out there in the universe-snarry_holidays, daily_deviant's Kinky Kristmas, mini_fest over on LJ. I will write a drabble for anyone that guesses any of the three fics which are mine (and I think at least two are so obvious anyone that regularly reads my fic could figure them out). I will put up a true screened guessing post later on but keep this in mind if you are interested in a drabble (likely written in late January).
