[ DAY SIX ]

[ The PDA crackles to life, and the network has been updated. ]
Welcome, patients. My name is Doctor Linda Grey. Today is day six.

Thankfully, such gloomy weather is finally starting to be put behind us. The rain has subsided to a light drizzle and the clouds are to be blown away by the late afternoon, and the sun will shine brightly once again.

Please give a warm welcome to Alice Elliot, Mitsunari Ishida, Edward Elric and Nico Robin.

Thank you, and please try to enjoy the day.

[ DAY FIVE ]

[ The PDA crackles to life, and the network has been updated. ]
Welcome, patients. My name is Doctor Linda Grey. Today is day five.

You've all just undergone your first therapy session. I, and the rest of the staff here at Yellow Brick, are very happy for you all and hope for future therapies to go as smoothly as this first one. We all appreciate your cooperation. [ you can practically hear her kind smile ] We hope you continue to be so cooperative.

If you look outside today you'll see the storm is fully upon us. It's raining very heavily and the winds are strong; we have thunder and lightning and we predict this will last for a day. Umbrellas will be supplied if you plan on using some of the outdoor facilities such as the dojo; the pools and the beach will be closed but the dojo has a roof for times such as this.

Additionally, please give a warm welcome to our newest addition, Vriska Serket.

Thank you, and please try to enjoy the day.

[ ooc: we are switching over to the proposed tagging system starting today. please tag entries if your character replies, and don't be hesitant in adding tags to previous entries!

also please look over at these posts and reply if you have not already! ]

[DAY FOUR]

[ The PDA crackles to life, and the network has been updated. ]

Welcome, patients. I'm Doctor Linda Grey. Today is day four.

You may not notice it yourself, but you are making progress. Slowly but surely you are inching closer to recovery, and we're proud of you. I'm proud of you. Today is another landmark, it is the beginning of therapy here at Yellow Brick. Our processes may seem challenging, but all we ask is that you open yourself up and allow us to help you. If you're shy, you'll soon come to realize that talking isn't such a scary thing! Time will fly before you know it, and the session will be over like that. [ The sound of fingers snapping. ]

Please be cooperative, we're here for you.

Today will see some heavy rain and clouds brewing by the afternoon. We advise you to stay inside where it is warm and dry for the duration of the storm.

I kindly request you help me in welcoming our two newest awakened individuals, York Morgan and Gilbert G.P. Guilford. You can communicate with them via our network or if you're feeling especially welcoming, face-to-face.

Thank you.

[ DAY 03 ]

[ The PDA crackles to life, and the network has been updated. ]

Welcome, patients. My name is Doctor Linda Grey. Today is day three.

It has come to my attention that several of you are resisting taking your medications, and have even been restrained. Please cooperate with staff. Please trust us. We know what is best for you and would never do something to harm any one of you. Being restrained and administered medications through force is an upsetting ordeal for everyone involved; so for your sake as well as the sake of others, please cooperate. It isn't poison.

On another note, therapy is tomorrow. Please be cooperative for this as well.

Thank you.

[ DAY 02 ]

[ The PDA crackles to life, and the network has been updated. ]

Welcome, patients. My name is Doctor Linda Grey. I am your warden. Today is day two.

As promised, the beach has been opened for all of you to use. The lovely weather has persisted and it is supposed to be even hotter than yesterday. There will be balloons, music, and party food for all to enjoy. Swimwear, lifevests, beach toys and towels are supplied for any patient venturing that way, but if you have eaten a large meal within the past fourty-five minutes, staff will discourage you from going into the water.

On the topic of meals, today's breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert is a specially prepared buffet of many dishes you may find very familiar. If patients are happy with this several of these items may become regularly served.

Thank you, and please enjoy the rest of the day.

[ If your character has a favorite food that is obtainable in the real world, you'll find it in the buffet at the appropriate time, and it'll taste as good as they remember it. The beach is also opened and you're all free to start threads set there.

Also note that characters are free to reply to this post. Depending on your comment you may get a reply from Linda herself, and don't hesitate to chat each other up here. ]

[ DAY 01 ]

[ The soft voice of a woman can be heard over the PDA and read over the network. She sounds friendly and not at all unkind. She sounds genuine. ]

Welcome, patients. My name is Doctor Linda Grey. I am your warden.

You've all recently awoken from your deep slumber... you may be confused, angry, sad, or all three. But we, the staff at Yellow Brick Institution, promise-- no, guarantee-- that things will make sense. Not tomorrow, or even the day after that, but with time. We will assist all of you with your conditions and restore your misplaced memories. I will be honest and say that this process may be frightening or overwhelming to many of you, but you are not alone here. Every single patient here is in the same situation as you are. And the staff is here to help. Please cooperate and become an active participant in your own recovery. We will take care of you.

[ She clears her throat and continues on in a lighter tone. ]

Today is a historical day; we have worked tirelessly to awaken patients from their sleep, and have finally found a method that works in practice as well as theory. Today is day one.

Please make yourselves comfortable; the weather is lovely if you are to venture outside and use any of our outdoor facilities. However, our beach is closed for today. Starting tomorrow, it should be up and running for everyone to use. If you would prefer to stay indoors, we recommend you look at our extensive library. If you are lost or require assistance, please alert one of our staff doing their rounds.

Thank you, and please enjoy the rest of the day.
