Who: Kali, OPEN
When: Dec 1st, 5pm
Where: The diner
Rating/Warning: TBA

It always struck the little brunette how crazy some people got when December finally rolled around. She understood Christmas could be a little stressful, really, but the crazy.. Well it was really crazy sometimes. Or maybe it was more the craziness that started the day after thanksgiving. Good lordy, that'd been scary! She wasn't even shopping and people had run her over (luckily they were on foot at the time).

Luckily for Kali, she wasn't working in an actual store of any kind, so most of the crazy was diverted away from her. Although, there was no lack of holiday cheer within the diner. Oh no, the place was full blown decorated, and no need to worry about politically correct. There wasn't a holiday the owner missed.

Mostly the twinkling lights all over had started to give her a headache 3 hours into her shift. Or maybe that was the Christmas song playing on repeat.

Or maybe the truth was she was just tired and everything was giving her a headache today. Not that she was tired in the lack of sleep sort of way, no, because she'd been getting plenty of that. It was more in the, her friends were busy, Stephen was still Stephen, and the band she managed was still his, and everything was sort of piling on top of her, and she maybe hated Christmas a little bit anymore.

Actually, most holidays weren't really high on her list of likes.

So needless to say, the little brunette was in a bit of a grumpy mood, though she tried her best to hide it with a smile for the customers. Sighing to herself as she took a seat on one of the counters stools. Her customers were all good for the moment, and so she leaned her head against the counter and let her eyes slide close.

Who: Liz Collins; LOCKED to Kali Andrews
When: Monday September 22nd, sometime after Kali gets out of work.
Where: The Hospital, at the vending machine not far from Jason’s room.
Rating/Warning: TBD

It had been a very long day, and Liz hadn’t slept very much. She had a little bit, here n’ there, but nothing really, but her system was use to all nighters. Currently she was at the vending machine getting a bunch of things that weren’t exactly healthy or an actual meal, but, could be considered Liz’s comfort foods. She’d pretty much only been eating that type of food all day. She’d turned around, nearly running into Kali. The blond should have figured that she’d be coming to see her, since Liz had left a message but hadn’t heard from her friend as of yet. She smiled tiredly at her.

Liz gets home late, after getting off on the wrong floor, she spots a very badly beaten Jason, and then with her friend’s help gets him to the hospital; where she refuses to leave him wit by himself. )

Who: Jackson Briggs and OPEN
When: Wednesday evening 17th September.
Where: The Biker Bar
Rating/Warning: PG-13 for language

Jackson was standing in the doorway of the Biker bar. He was doing his job as the bouncer. He had already thrown a few guys out for fighting and two girls who had been fighting over another guy. He was standing alert should any trouble break out. He was smoking a cigarette.

Who: Liz Collins; OPEN to anyone-- Multiple repliers are welcome, too.
When: Monday September 15th, 11PM-ish
Where: Biker Bar
Rating/Warning: TBD, Likely at least Pg-13. Liz is in a mood, so, drinking, swearing, and perhaps some fighting.

Liz kind of played the day out in a numb sort of haze; the day before after getting to bed after talking with Kali outside sitting on the sidewalk outside the cemetery. She didn’t move from her bed. Not even for lunch or dinner, and she only answered her phone when Kali called. She didn’t want to get up and go to work Monday morning, but, she had to. Blowing off work wasn’t something that would do her any good. [As if staying in bed all day was doing her good, it only gave her more time to think, and re-think all the things that were said… and let her feelings and emotions mix and mangle even more. She hadn’t felt this angry, and hurt it quite some time.]

After leaving work, she was supposed to head to Stephen’s for a Monday evening practice. The band had practice two-three times a week; Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes Mondays when Stephen felt it was needed. Or, Liz could swear half the time it was just because he wanted everyone to hang out, or maybe he just really wanted her around, [since the guys were usually hanging out anyway] and a reason for her not to refuse to come. But, that was just the odd idea she had in her head about it.

Before heading to practice; she packed her bag with a few things. Then headed to Stephen’s, where she was mostly keeping to herself; except for taking two beers that were offered. She didn’t talk to any of the guys, but she defiantly rocked out on the drums. Maybe a little harder than needed, and then when things were wrapped up and the guys were talking about heading out, and bring their ‘girl’… Liz. She asked to borrow the bathroom, which wasn’t a problem, and she took a quick shower, and got dressed, in the things she brought with her. A very skimpy outfit fixed her hair and makeup. She’d gotten dressed at Stephen’s because she didn’t want Kali knowing she was going out. Was likely she was still at work, but, she was never sure.

[info]hidesinshadows

Who: Liz Collins; OPEN to anyone-- Multiple repliers are welcome, too.
When: Saturday late evening/Sunday early morning – September 13th/14th, around 5AM
Where: Outside the Cemetery, near the worship center and Apartment building.
Rating/Warning: TBD- Liz is angry, so perhaps some bad language.

Liz had gotten a phone call about 10PM, an emergency call from the Hospital. Asking if she was the Daughter of Richard Collins, after affirming the fact she was informed about the accident. And immediately she was headed out the door, after scribbling a quick note to Kali and leaving it in the usual spot on the fridge; Something happened, I went to the hospital.

She waited around for about an hour before a doctor came to see her; she’d been pacing the entire time. And after a nurse told her to sit and calm down, she yelled at her, which involved Liz being asked to sit in an empty room away from any others while she waited for the attending doctor. Most people thought Liz hated her father, and well, he wasn’t her favorite person; a long time ago she lost her trust in him, and felt that he had betrayed her, which had been the reason. And everything just built off of that, but, he was her father. And really, deep down, she hated the fighting. And really she couldn’t even truly find herself completely hating Jesse either, because again he was her brother, and what she masked with the anger and hate, was really pain.

When the doctor came in; he informed Liz that her father was on his way in from out of town; when a Semi-truck ran straight into his car, hitting it alongside the passenger side. Which was lucky he was driving alone, because was a very obscure chance that anyone sitting in the seat would have walked away. She quickly rushed him, and asked how her father was. Liz was told that he was going to be alright, but going to be in some extensive casts, and need plenty of assistance once he was released. Along with some physical therapy, he wouldn’t be able to go to work for a while; he told her if it was needed he could arrange for a stay-in nurse to come to the house. The girl immediately shook her head, telling him she’d take care of him. She didn’t even think about it for longer than a few seconds.

[info]hidesinshadows

Who: Liz Collins; LOCKED to Jason Calderon
When: Wednesday August 20th, 7:55PM
Where: The apartment complex, and then out to Dinner.
Rating/Warning: TBD

Liz was waiting in the Lobby of the apartment building, glancing outside every so often. She knew she was early, and so she was sitting where she could see the door, her ear phones stuck in her ears, IPod playing some Three Days Grace, tapping her foot and humming along. Her purse was sitting next to her on the cushion. She wasn't really looking at it as a date-date, just, dinner with a guy. A wolf-guy, who she still wasn’t sure about, but, she’d promised to go with him. And maybe it’d be surprisingly cool, at the least some of the old bit-es might see her with a Reesyn police officer, and tell her father; which, in her book would totally be worth it, although actually seeing her fathers face would be hilarious, but still.

She was wearing a casual outfit; a pair of low cut jeans, cute tank top, although not quite long enough to mesh with her jeans, which reveals part of the tattoo on her lower back slightly above her waist line, it’s a tribal looking dragon design. Also being seen is her pierce belly button, which currently has a three studded earring in it, matching the dark red color of her shirt. On her right forearm near the wrist is a small version of this Celtic cross. On her left upper arm is a RIP cross with the name G. Collins scribed on it. Sitting in her lap is her jean jacket, and the IPod; she’s got big hoop earrings, and studs along the sides of her ears. On her neck is a gem stone necklace wrapped in a leather braided strap, it’s actually a charm with a simple caltrop on it to change the wears hair to a brown shade.

She has a few of those sorts of similar charms, using magic is always better than dyeing it. Sometimes she didn’t even take notice of grabbing them sometimes, although it did have an activation word; which she used before leaving her apartment, so she was sitting with Brown hair over her shoulders. The young woman was so use to it, she didn’t even really realize that Jason might not recognize her with brown hair, so, maybe it was a good thing she was watching for him, both the elevator, staircase, and front door. Although she was doing it discreetly, scribbling something into a note pad she also had in her lap. A few lyrics to a new song she was working on, which if she was done with it soon, and didn’t think it was shitty. She was planning to give to Stephen, to sing if he wanted.

A late night ‘stroll’, a wayward spell, talk of dinner, some breakfast, untrusting paranoia, talking, and then leaving for work. )

Who: Kali Andrews, OPEN
When: August 9, 8pm
Where: The diner.
Rating/Warning: TBA

Saturdays were always a weird day at the diner, since people seemed to stop in for a quick dinner before they went out partying (or whatever) for the night. Not that Kali minded, since it meant she got to chat with people she knew, being that when she wasn't working she was with one of the groups who came in sometimes, and she made great tips.

It did also mean she was grateful when things seemed to slow back down to just a few people coming in and out for dinner or chili fries. It meant she got to sit at the counter, giving her feet a break, but still able to see all her tables and get up should anyone need a refill or to place their order.
