Who: Jackson and Hannah.
Where: The doctor and then the diner
Why: Hannah has a doctors appointment.

Jackson held Hannah's hand as they walked into the hospital. She was eight months gone and had a big rounded belly. He'd never seen her look more beautiful. She was glowing and she looked so happy.

He looked down at her stomach. He was really looking forward to meeting their child. He was also terrified. He wanted to be a good father but considering his own, he wasn't confident he would be.

He pressed a kiss to Hannah's temple as they walked inside the hospital.

"You look beautiful," he said. He still marveled at how they got here. He had been the biggest jerk to her for so long. He knew she must really love him to be able to forgive him that. And now they were having a baby.

	"Stress on the body, happens. Nothing to be too alarmed about when her blood pressure seems to be pretty stable normally, but we still want to monitor that." He put some gel on her lower belly then, prepping the ultra sound machine. "Doc, I've been noticing there has been some fluttering near my pelvis. Try eating less sodium." Hannah winced at the chill of the gel on her belly, plus the cold press of metal. "I have been kind of feeling run down, more then normal. Sneezing a little more and sometimes nausea. Thought it was just my sinuses, could it be a cold? Plus, I really don't notice me eating more sodium, now that I think on it. Been eating lots of red and white meats, lots of veggies, been walking everyday and doing some yoga for pregnant woman." Hannah stated to the doctor, as he pressed down on her belly. Soon the sound of the babies heartbeat could be heard, like a kettle drum. "Oh, see that there? That is his right arm, see there? His head, is right there...so you are right, his feet are right at your pelvis." Hannah nodded and smiled, listening to the babies overly strong heartbeat. "I have been noticing him really leaning into my bladder, it is becoming unbearable. Is there any way I can get him to move around? Been playing him music, and just talking to him, reading him fairy-tales and books, some Shakespeare, whatever I can get my hands on, you know? Is that okay?" Hannah asked the doctor softly.

	He smiled widely when he heard the babies heartbeat. "Wow," he said when he saw the babies arms and legs and head. He looked at the doctor when Hannah asked her that question. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

The doctor looked at Hannah and said, "all I can think of doing, is laying in certain ways, he might be provoked to move. Right now, he has just found a very comfy position, he will move when the time is right. Now he looks fine, the chord is not wrapped around him. He is a big baby, he is going to be a little rougher to deliver, looking at his shoulders and the size of his head. He is a little more developed then some of the other babies. Any spotting? Anything unusual?" Hannah just shook her head no and gulped hard.

Hannah just looked at Jackson and gulped again. Thinking about how hard it was for them to just have sex, how tight she was, then the thought of having such a wide baby coming out of her was a little too much.

"Oh...Okay." Nodding toward Jackson. The doctor had her start breathing, listening to her heart and lungs.

"Well, any infection when you blow your nose?" Hannah nodded a little. "Well, sounds like you might have a sinus infection, Open your mouth and say ahhhh?" The doctor asked, He would check her nose and ears next.

"Well,a C section is a major operation. We would only want to do that in case of an emergency. Anyway, having her have the baby normally produces the hormones and such that help her connect to the baby. I know about Hannah's condition, we could always cut a little down there, making the area wider. Giver her shot in the spine for the pain? It is really up to her, but just having a voluntary C section, well, you miss out on a lot of the benefits of giving natural birth. It is your decision and mine to make judgment calls, should the baby be in any type of trouble. Take some time to think about it, we can schedule another appointment and talk about the options. My suggestion is try WebMd, or just look for breast feeding societies, water birthing, which could be an option. Even articles on other subjects pertaining to child birth. They have some great books out there on birth, what to expect and so much more. You have a little over a month to make your final birth plan. I am here for you the whole way." He said in a reassuring tone.
