Where: The Coffee shop/cafe, sitting at one of the outside/sidewalk tables.

The sad thing, really, was that Andrea couldn't even pretend to be too surprised by it. The other girls had been nice enough, and she's always known it was going to happen. They just, didn't click. She was always sort of the odd one out, and she knew she got on their nerves sometimes. Hell, she seemed to get on everyone's nerves sometimes. She couldn't really seem to help that though.

Bundled up in a hoodie, messenger bag slung over her chair, she sat slumped toward the outside table. She had a notebook in front of her, along with a huge cup of hot cocoa, and was scribbling quickly. Her normally fun, bubbly, happy songs, had suddenly taken a slightly darker edge, it seemed, but dammit, she was sad. She went from being in an awesome, kickass, all girl band, to suddenly not being. Sure, now she could sing the songs she wrote, but that didn't do much good since she didn't have a band anymore.

She was so caught up in her thoughts and the notebook in front of her, she didn't even notice someone approaching her table.

She dropped her drawing pad by the girls chair, standing there, with wide eyes. She didn't know whether to bother or not? So, she stood there, hair covering her banged up eye. Watching the other girl draw, swallowing thickly.

Thee drawing pad hitting the floor startled the half-demon a bit, enough that her pen slipped, leaving a jagged line through the middle of the sentence she was writing. Which was actually probably for the better since it started getting really nonsensical.

She dropped the pen onto the table, turning her eyes up to take note of the red-head standing there sort of like she was afraid Andrea might bite her if she got to close. So she swooped over in her chair to grab the pad, holding it up to the other girl with a bright grin. Despite her sour mood about being politely removed from Irusan, she still liked people, especially people she had yet to meet.

"Hi! I think you might have dropped this."

She looked at the woman worriedly. She could only manage to gaze at her shoulder, not her face.

"I-I-I...I'm so-so-sosorry tha-that I dropped that. Th-thank you."

She took the proffered item with a small smile, grabbing the drawing book, she stared at her and anyone walking by, too afraid that there she would be all found. She plastered on a caring,but can never full be full of themselves,

The girl reminded her a lot of one of the new dogs her mom had brought home. He'd been living the next town over with an abusive owner, so he was real skittish and never seemed to look anyone in the face.

"Aw, sweets, it's not like you threw it at my head. You're welcome, hope it didn't get dirty or anything."

The dark haired girl tipped her head thoughtfully, before figuring, 'screw it, not like it'd hurt me either way', and offered, "did you wanna take a seat? Order up a cup of coco or something?"

"It's OK." She practically whispered. "I have a ton of them." She said a little louder, looking to the side of her.

She bit and worried at her lower lip then. "A s-s-sea-seat?" She took a deep breath, looking around a little worriedly.

"Makes sense," grinning, "I must have hundreds of notebooks in my room". She wondered what the girl was looking at.

The half imp shrugged her shoulders, then pushed the chair opposite from her out with her foot a little. "Sure, you can just plop yourself down right there. You don't have to, of course, but if you don't have anything better to be doing, they make awesome coffee and cocoa here." She leaned forward just a little, staying out of the girls personal space, "they even use real whip cream." Leaning back again, "and they don't mind if you sit her for hours and write." Eye her sketchpad, "or draw."

"Yeah, ha-have alm-al-almost 240 of them." She said softly. She felt the rising panic and did her best to not let get the best of her.

She did, however, jump slightly when she pushed out the chair. "I-I can? I li-like coffee, pumpkin spice and c-cocoa wi-with cin-cinnam-cinnamon on it. Murph was str-straight edge, food had-had to be heal-healthy." She slowly slid into the chair and did her best to not move and get herself touched, or to fall, which she did do, so busy worrying about it, she slipped and fell on her butt with a whine. "Ooowwwie." She whimpered and pulled herself up to standing. A couple of kids began to laugh at her expense, which Lis did her best to ignore, but her lower lips was wibbling and she had to fight the urge to call Hunter and cry. So, instead she just stood there with a hand rubbing her hip, which she bruised and staring down at her sketh book.

She whistled quietly, "that is hella impressive. I think you might have me beat."

"Course! Company is good, you know? And I'm kinda grumpy today, so company is even better. Although, that might just be a me thing. Some people like to be alone when they're grumpy." Grinning, "healthy food rocks. They've got great muffins here, wheat and fruit, really good for you. Balances out the coffee." She picked up her cup of cocoa, sipping it and watching Lis creep around curiously. Sitting the cup down quickly when she fell, "oh sweets, are you alright?" Normally she didn't mind when people laughed, but normally they were laughing at her, and you know, she was used to it, didn't actually mind. But she was pretty sure the pretty little red-head minded, so she shot a glare over her shoulder. She flipped the page in her notebook, ripping out a couple sheets. With a curious eye she looked over the sidewalk, swooping down quickly to pick up a rock near her chair, dropping it in the middle of the papers and balling them up. Then she turned in her chair, toward the kids, and with a mischievous little grin, she tossed the paper ball at one of their heads as hard as she could.

When the kids stopped laughing, and the one she hit turned to glare at her, she just wiggled her fingers a little. "That's what you get for being such an asshole!" And when he went to open his mouth she turned in her seat, making it as clear as she could that she didn't give a crap what he wanted to say. Instead she turned her attention back to Lis. "Seriously sweets, you alright? Don't let that asshat bother you none, he's just sad because his momma stopped breast feeding him last week." Putting her hand near her mouth, to mock whisper, "it makes the babies a little cranky, you know."

She smiled slightly, rubbing under her eye softly when she did. It still pained her some. She still didn't quite look at her, but her shoulder.

"Kay, Company, Company right. You don't seem grumpy, you seem all right. Sometimes, healthy food rocks, I like junk food sometimes." She replied very softly.

When she fell and the girl was suddenly concerned, she whined and nodded. "Mmmhhmmm, fine. I'm f-f-f-f-fi-fi-fine." She said as she stood there. Lis hugged herself as this girl began to throw things at the people who were laughing at her, she was unsure if she should sit, so she stood there, looking awkward as she felt. She smiled though when she stuck up for her, "Th-th-thanks." She stammered out. She nodded briskly at her question."Fi-fine. It ha-happens." She went wide eyed when she made the breast feeding comment, finally sitting delicately.

"Oh, well I'm pretty happy normally, so the grumpy's hard to spot if you don't know me, I guess. Defiantly grumpy though, you know. Got the boot from my band. Well, it wasn't mine, or I guess I wouldn't be able to get the boot." Looking down at her notebook, "knew it was going to happen, but still, grumpy about, you know?" Laughing, "junk food is also awesome. I might just like food. It's hard not to when you hand out with the furry type all the time I guess." Oh hey, that sentence could be about her former bandmates, or her pets, couldn't it? Funny how that worked.

"My pleasure, seriously. It helped with the grumpy, I think. I feel better, anyways." Andrea snorted a little, amused at Lis' wide eyes. But then she beamed at the other girl, pleased she decided to sit. "Awesome!" She said quietly, more to herself. "I'm Andrea."

"I-I'm so-s-s-sorry to hear that, 'bout the band. I ca-can play the guitar. My honey g-got me a guitar fo-for my birthday." She mumbled, hiding behind her hair now since she was embarrassed and her eye was still bugging her some, still. Plus, being out in the open like this, she could always run back into her father.

"I-I have lots of furries too, feathery even. There's Senor Mojo and Taffy Duck, Daffy''s cousin, then there is my honey, he's fuzzy too."

She didn't comment about the grumpy bits or the incident even, she didn't like to feel vulnerable or uncomfortable.

"M'Lisbeth. Nice to meet...you." She muttered awkwardly, already drawing a picture of the girl in front of her and the people around them.

She waved her hand a little, "aw, thanks, but you know, so not your fault. I'll get over it. Maybe even find a new band sometime." She grinned wide then, "no way? That's awesome!" She didn't know what was bothering the girl, so she did what she did with the dogs, and spoke levely, moved slowly, tried to keep things sounding light. That always seemed to help put them at ease, so she hoped it would work with the redhead too. "I play piano!"

She giggled a little at the fuzzy honey comment. "We've got Screech, McClane, Gussie, Dylan, Buffy and Faith, Mouth, Becky, Applebaum, Donut, Solomon, Xander, & Anya."

"Totally nice to meet you Lisbeth." Andrea pulled her legs up to sit kind of indian style in the chair, then flipped to a new page in her notebook and started writing and doodling. "Did you want to get a cocoa? I can get a waitress over here."

"O-OK, Thankies" She said softly and continued to draw, her hand flying over the paper. "Yes, a band, we were talking to someone about my h-honey singing. He h-has an ama-amazing voice." Then she heard her list of animals she had and Lis squeaked. "Awwww, fuzz babies, I love my fuzz babies. Warm, sweet, fun, fuzzy. Y-You like Buffy, Buffy was made of win."

She got quiet for a while, lost in her drawing, she didn't hear her ask about the drink at first, but something kept nagging Li to pay attention.

"Huh? What? Kay, Um cocoa, I like cocoa."

"Well there's plenty of places around here for him to show it off then! This place is actually really musical. It's kind of awesome." She beamed at the red head then, "y'all need a piano player anytime, lemme know."

She laughed, "I love mine too! Buffy was totally made of win, yes, although I always liked Faith a little more, but still. Such an awesome show." Tilting her head, "you a Joss fan, or just a Buffy fan?"

Andrea chuckled, then waved on of her hands in the air dramatically. Waiting only about two seconds before she whistled loudly, then beamed at the waitress who turned to shoot her an exasperated look before walking over to the table. "Why do you always have to do that Andrea? Really. I know you only do it to me." She just smiled harder at the girl, who was about her and Lis' age, "my new friend here would like to order, Kat, and I'd like a chocolate muffin, please." Kat rolled her eyes a little, but nodded, then turned toward Lis, "hi Andrea's new friend, what can I get for you?"

"Uh huh, just go-gotta get him started. He has stage fr-fright." Lis said softly. "Oh, yeah, I bet we could use a piano player, piano's are beautiful instruments." Lis then continued to draw the girl in front of her, she was smiling thoughtfully then.

"Oh, I am a big Joss fan, he ha helped me find my dear an' fluffy lord, he has...plus, I love to spend a lotta time in my bunk with my honey." Lis said with a bit of a feisty manner to her.

The waitress came over then and Lis shrunk in on herself, hiding through her hair, she looked at her very softly through her bangs. "I...I um...uhm I-I-I would li-like a-a cocoa, p-p-pl-please?" Lis stammered out.

"Start small then, defiantly.. You know, this place has an open mic night sometimes. Not a ton of people come, 'cause, well not a ton of people can get in at the same time." Andrea practically had hearts in her eyes at that, "that, is just plain truth right there. Piano's are awesome."

"Joss is God." Her sudden sauciness caught Andy off guard, a little bit, and made her laugh loudly and appreciatively. "Who doesn't love to spend a lotta time in their bunk, really? With or without the honey, though with is always a little more fun."

Kat smiled a little at the girl when she turned out to not be a loud mouth like Andrea, "sure thing. I'll be back with your orders in a couple minutes." When she walked away the brunette watched her until she reentered the building, then turned her attention back to her own notebook.

"W-well, I go-gotta get him in his delicate man-parts into the leather pants I go-got him and have him sin-sing along with me wh-when I play the guitar for him. I made you something!" Lis said suddenly very excited, it was of Andrea, but she was dressed like Faith from Buffy and had a stake, running through the cometary.

"Here, I made th-this fo-for y-y-you, l-like it?" She suddenly sounded unsure, but very happy.

"Oh, leather pants. There is just something yummy about leather pants." She was going to ask more, about the kind of music they were gonna play and everything, but then Lis had to catch her off guard with the gift. Strongly resembling a small child most of the time, she made an excited noise and then grabby hands for the sketch.

Upon seeing, Andrea had straight up anime hearts in her eyes. Actually, her entire body was thrumming with the desire to laugh herself at the pretty little red-head in a full body hug. "Love," she corrected with a full blown beam. "Love, love, love it. Totally want to kamikaze at you right now and give you the worlds biggest hug EVER!" Looking back at the sketch, "don't wanna scare you off though, so I'm being good."

[ooc: I was gonna go to bed, but then you did this and Andrea demanded I reply, right this second. XD So after this, I shall be heading to sleep. But I'll see you in the morning, for sure. *snuggles*]

Lis could feel the energy coming off the girl and it had her kind of doped up on the same feeling. Lis was scared of the idea of being hugged, but she was learning with Hunter and his family.

"N-Not good with touch or-or stuff. But, I feel like a h-hug would be n-nice. So, go 'head." Lis scrunched up her nose, closed her eyes and scrunched up her shoulders. Then she said," Go ahead." Waiting for it, she braced herself, but this was no doubt a huge step for the girl.

(OOC sleep well my love and big hugs. The lesbian game you are joining looks really good. I been trying to explore my femme lines, but not having much luck. Miss you, talk later and I am glad things between us are aired out. I am thinking of doing a narrative for Lis about her dad and her mental health going south for a short while. I really need to explore that side of her.)

"Aw, hugs are awesome. Thank-you!" When Lis got all scrunched up, it reminded Andrea of someone getting ready for a fight. Which caused her to smile widely at the other girl, even though she couldn't see it, and push her seat out. With some people she probably would have just launched herself over the table and sent it and all their stuff flying, but that she was pretty sure would not go over well.

Out of her seat she walked around the table and dropped down so she was crouching in front of the other girl, gently putting one hand on her arm first, then pulling her into a loose hug.

[OOC: Ahah! I knew you mentioned the game somewhere. XD Aw, well if you decided you want to check it out, lemme know. Esme, would love having peeps she knew, like her sister. XD A narrative for Lis sounds good. Hunter'll be all worried about her, and doesn't like the plan, of course, but you know. XD]

When Lis said that was good, Andrea practically fell backwards letting her go. She didn't really want to overstay her welcome in the hug and scare the girl off. She liked her after all, she was interesting, and Andrea was willing to bet she was spunky too. Plus, the little brunette could always use more friends. Especially with the whole band situation and Liz kind of disappearing.

"Totally keeping you, just so you know," she announced, while still crouched near Lis' chair.

She was scrambling back into her seat when Kat came back, carrying a chocolate muffin for Andrea and Lis's hot cocoa.

"Oooh Oh golly, y-you OK?" Lis asked when the girl practically fell backwards, reaching a hand out to catch an elbow.

"I don't ha-h-have any friends, w-well ex-except f-for Hun-Hunter an' Jacks, but t-they are fam-family, they h-hav-have to pu-pu-put up with me." Lis said softly, worrying at her lower lip.

Lis smiled, but didn't look at the girl when she brought her cocoa. Lis just said a super, super soft "Thanks."

Andy laughed openly, then smile widely at Lis, "totally fine! Thanks for catching me though, woulda gotten my butt dirty."

She shook her head a little, "I don't have a lot." Grinning, "I dunno, I don't think family has to put up with you unless they want to."

The half-imp practically beamed at the sight of, well it was hard to say if it was the sight of Kat, the chocolate muffin, or a combination of the two, but whatever. "You, are totally the best Kat." Their waitress shook her head a little fondly, sitting Liz's cocoa in front of her, hardly hearing her thanks, but nodding her welcome. Then she sort of plopped Andrea's muffing on her notebook. Over her shoulder, as she walked away, she threw out, "and stop sweet talking me Andy. I'm still not going on another date with you."

Andrea turned with comically wide eyes to Lis, "do you hear how mean she is to me, new friend? Totally a hater." Laughing again, "she makes the best cup of cocoa though, extra chocolate shavings. I think you're gonna love it."

Lis nibbled on her lip, listening to the two women talking. Lis didn't look at Andrea when she said it, but she said it quietly as she added depth to a new picture she was drawing.

"She's v-very sexy, go-good taste. She shoul-shouldn't be mean, no need t-to hate som-someone so pretty herself. An' dirty b-butts are jus-just as bad as cold, w-wet butts. Uncomfotable, less you h-have someone c-cool enough to wipe it off/warm it up. An' no pro-problemo. Guess you a-are right, 'bout family too."

Picking up her muffing, she tore a piece off, popping into her mouth and chewing thoughtfully.

Andrea clapped her hands delighted, "you're totally my new favorite ever Lissybeth, totally." She chuckled, the popped another piece of muffin in her mouth and nodded. "Totally uncomfortable. Who wants to have to sit around with a dirty, wet, or cold butt." With a wide smile, "is your sweetie cool enough to warm your butt up?"

Lis smiled at the nicknames, other then 'Red' she didn't have any. Lis had just picked up her cocoa to sip it when Andrea mentioned her sweetie warming up her butt. That had Lis coughing, as she put her cup down and covered her mouth. Eyes were anime wide and Lis could only nod, her cheeks were a bright red color.

"It is?" Lis asked happily, a smile on her face and her cheeks were a little red. "Dan-Dancing? W-wha-what is a Dar-Dark Water?" Lis asked. "What ab-about the Corps-corpse Bride? She was kind of cool." Lis eyes were like saucers when Andrea mentioned voodoo. "Um, huh? Whut?" Lis asked wide eyed.

"Yes, defiantly." Andy was nodding, and pretty sure Lis was adorable. "If you're into it! Some people don't like to dance, I guess, but me, I love to." Amused, "Dark Water is this totally awesome local band! I'm friends with the drummer and the manager. Awesome girls, and the guys in the band are super cool." Andy made a sort of exactly gesture, "yes! That's what I'm talking about. I was totally rooting for her and Victor to get together! I mean, Victor and Victoria? Really? That's just weird."

Andrea shoved a big bite of muffing in her mouth so she wouldn't giggle. It wasn't funny, really, but it kind of was. When she'd swallowed and gotten over the urge to giggle. "Voodoo. We've got one scary voodoo priestess living in Reesyn, you know. But she's actually really nice, you know? Unless you cross her I guess.. but you know, I don't know why anyone smart would do that."

"I love to da-dance, just pe-peo-pe-people can touch-touch me." Lis shivered and made a unhappy face at the thought, wanting to be a normal girl, who goes out dancing with her mates.

"Re-really, take Hunt too. H-h-he can get to kno-know them may be and pi-pick up point-pointers. Help-help him to-to si-si-si-sing." Lis stammered hard. Lis nodded softly, listening to her new, what was probably her best friend, next to Hunter, Jacks and her animals...it made her beam her a warm, happy smile.

"M-Me too. I li-liked the pet magg-maggot." Lis watched Andrea, entranced, it was so unfair Lis thought. She was so comfy in her own skin and Lis felt like an alien. At the mention of the voodoo priestess again, Lis' eyes got wider and picked up her drink to cover her quivering lips.

Andy waved that away, "then you dance somewhere with lots of space or no other people." After all, her mom was a big believer in you worked with what you had, so Andrea tried to keep that philosophy in life too.

"Yeah? Go-Good, he needs more fr-friends, more th-then me." Lis said softly, almost sullenly. "yes, I w-w-wanted one, but they don-don't talk in real life." Lis nodded sagely. "N-No. Wouldn't h-h-have been here e-either, I was ki-kidnapped he-here." Yeah, Lis didn't know the meaning of TMI.

"Sure! There's always somewhere, changes depending on the club. But like, little stages, or platforms, or little rooms. Some places you can dance outside too." Andy grinned hard. "I am happy to help fix that!"

"Don't we all need more friends?" Andy was a bit of a friend whore, really. You couldn't have enough of them in her opinion. People were good to have around, being alone bad. She chuckled at that, "nope, real maggots are just kind of icky."

Andy looked surprised at that. "No shit? That's.. wow. You couldn't have ended up in a better place though. All sorts of totally awesome and weird stuff happens here!" She gave her a thoughtful look then, curious if she'd be one of the newbies who adjusted well to all differences in Reesyn, or if she'd be one of the ones who left pretty quick.
