QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED

With the final three games of the British & Irish League's 2001 - 2002 season occurring this week, the Wizarding World has begun to gear up for the 2002 Quidditch World Cup. The World Cup makes it's triumphant return to England after the Irish National Quidditch team defeated the Bulgarian National Quidditch team 170 to 160 in the 422nd final in 1994.
Competing teams in the 224th World Cup include England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Bulgaria, France, Canada, South Korea, Germany, New Zealand, Kenya, Panama, the Philippines, Cameroon, India, and Ukraine.
Opening Ceremonies occur on Friday, 8 April and include a charity gala event to support Snitches for Sickles.
