Yay for introductions! I don't get to make those often enough.
Hullo hullo! I'm Emily, and I'll be bringing you sixth-year Gryffindor Meaghan McCormack. I am 24 (turning 25 on Monday) and live in Utah, and I studied Communications and English in college. I graduated two years ago and work as an advertising editor at a phone book company, which I actually kind of love for some reason. Most of the time.
Meaghan is crispety crunchety peanut-buttery 16, scatterbrained, and kind of (read: extremely) flighty. She has a hard time sticking with things, even Quidditch. She doesn't plan to play Quidditch professionally, but to be honest, she doesn't plan much of anything, which really frustrates her professors (especially McGonagall, who's had to help her figure out her schedule and future and such). Meaghan doesn't really care.
She is extremely chatty and in most ways very Gryffindorish, but she doesn't talk about politics or "the whole war thing" because, as her mum says, "Everyone already knows who we are, where we live and what we look like. You do not want to offend the wrong people."
She has a mother (Catriona McCormack, chaser and captain for Pride of Portree), a brother (Kirley, her twin), and various assorted aunts and cousins and things. She also, presumably, has a father, but the only one who'd have a clue as to his name is Catriona and she's not talking.
