Who: Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange

What: Waking up, together again

Today had been the best day of twenty three year old Bellatrix Lestrange's life.

She had awoken early, and gone to her mother's home for a baby shower. Rodolphus was certain it was a boy, and Bellatrix hoped he was right. She wasn't sure she was up to raising a daughter. Sure, Bellatrix could act the part of a prim and proper pure blood woman, but truthfully she'd rather have a son, someone she could teach all of the lessons she had learned from her father. Bellatrix had not been raised like your typical affluent witch, after all. Besides, she knew Ro wanted a chance to pass the Lestrange name, which was the only reason she had agreed to go off the potion in the first place.

She had floo'ed home and curled up in the bed she shared with Rodolphus. He was out doing the Dark Lord's work, and she knew he'd be home soon to curl up with her. She was incredibly tired, but that was nothing new. Pregnancy was taking a toll on her body, and she often slept in the afternoons. She knew within the next month she would put in notice at her job, and resign herself to being a full time wife and mother. She hated the idea, but it made Ro happy, and that seemed to make it a bit better.

She drifted off and began having disturbing dreams, of war and chaos and her Rodolphus dying.

Rodolphus stood in front of the manor he used to share with his wife, they had escaped Azkhaban and were soon to be reunited. The years were hard on him but just knowing that when he walked inside Bellatrix would be there made it worth the extra steps. He took a slow breath breath as he entered the manor, it was not as dusty as he thought it'd be.

Making his way up the stairs the only thing he could think of was holding Bellatrix in his arms again, he remembered how she smelled, how she felt. He remembered it all and it was beautiful. He smiled as he ran the rest of the way, he waited long enough and now he'd get her.

He threw the bedroom door open then ran over to the bed, leaning down to kiss her cheek, "Bellatrix?"

Bellatrix didn't even open her eyes. She knew his voice, and the feel of his lips on her cheek was familiar. She smiled, "You stink, go take a shower." In her mind they had only been apart a few hours, nothing unusual for them. "Then you can go see what all Mother and Father got us for the baby." She snuggled her pillow closer, shifting so her pregnant stomach was clearly visible.

She just wanted another half hour of sleep, really. She didn't think that was too much to ask, after all she had a very long day. She rubbed her stomach, feeling the baby kicking again. Yet another reason she needed the sleep.

	Rodolphus tilted his head to the side, wondering what she was going to do or for the matter say. He couldn't lose her again, not after surviving Azkaban and to see her pregnant again. It was almost too good to be true, he could only hope he would not wake up. "Yes, I guess we do." He grinned chuckling some, "I don't care as long as it's healthy." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Rodolphus smiled at this, happy to have heard that. This meant that they had nothing to worry about with the child this time, he'd finally get his heir. Though when she continued he knew he couldn't tell her what happened, at least not now, "Yeah, that's true." "Are you sure? I think you should rest though, I can take care of everything else." 	"I know you're not helpless but I just want to make sure you don't wear yourself out." Rodolphus offered a small smile as he watched her walk off. He entered the kitchen, hoping to find something, anything but was disappointed to find very little. 	Rodolphus stared at her, unsure of what she had just found. He took the paper looking over the headlines before he finally found the date. That was not right, it couldn't be right.
