This wasn't exactly a conversation that Raven was looking forward to. How exactly did one approach someone - and Erik was hardly just someone - and tell them yes, I do know your horrific future and oh yeah, I did tell someone not to tell you. She had no idea what kind of mood she was going to find Erik in, nor how he felt about her after learning all he had; she was going in blind, so to speak. Still, she had to fix this. Erik was incredibly close to Charles, for one, and she at least felt like they had grown quite close in their time together. Raven would never assume anything about Erik, but she felt safe in at least guessing that he held some affection for her.
So it was settled, she had to fix it. All that still remained was the how. As she drew closer to the kitchen doors she could physically feel herself growing more nervous. Pulse speeding up, hands shaking, even slightly shallower breaths all indicators pointed towards a definite unease in the situation she was facing. She closed her eyes and rest back against the door. Still very strongly convinced that she was right to (try at least to) keep the information from Erik, and she wasn't about to apologise for that. She wasn't sure what she could say, honestly, and was desperately hoping she would be struck by some lightening bolt of inspiration. Or perhaps just the lightening bolt.
Changing to her natural form, a gesture solely for Erik in the hopes that he might recognise her efforts to make the peace between them, she took a deep breath and gave her hands a good shake. This quivering business simply wouldn't do. Determined expression on her face and a second wind behind her, she pushed the doors open and stepped in with a firm purpose about her.
Which all vanished instantly when she saw Erik. She paused, and then two small words just about stumbled out of her mouth in a soft breath.
"Hi Erik."
