WHO: Gwen Cooper. Open to Jack Harkness, The Doctor and Rose Tyler.
WHERE: Her Hotel Room
WHEN: 10:30 pm
WHAT: Torchwood Raccoon City Planning Session
STATUS: Incomplete
RATING: PG-13 and possible DW and TW spoilers

After claiming her and Jack's laptops from the police station Gwen was back in the hotel room and losing herself in the idea of a branch of Torchwood within Raccoon City. Between her, Jack and The Doctor she knew it would work and she had gotten wind of another friend being a recent arrival so she was excited to finally meet Rose Tyler if she came. But for now she was just going over the files that had somehow landed on her laptop and waited for Jack's now known knock (so she would know it was him). But only Jack could see the effects of recent events within Gwen's eyes: she was emotionally very dead since losing Tosh and Owen and had never really faced losing them beyond one small emotional meltdown (plus she had been dealing with intense stress headaches, but very well hidden for now).

Who: Rose Tyler [open]
What: Arrival!
Where: The Higher City
When: Sometime late at night.

This wasn't anywhere near right.

Since her first moment at Bad Wolf Bay, Rose had become almost accustomed to ending up in places that she had no business being in. She had walked through gaps in the universe in search of answers, come through time and space and carried nothing but a weapon so large it needed a strap slung around her shoulders to keep it upright and accessible. And those were unsettling things on their own, but this was something else. Something completely different in the sense that it sent prickles of unease walking up the nape of her neck to settle in her hairline. Rose had seen the devastation that could have come to the universe if Donna Noble hadn't made the left turn on one morning that didn't seem to hold any particular significance and that had been enough to etch tired sadness at the corners of her lips for the rest of time.

But this was something out of a horrific nightmare, and this time she didn't have the weapon.

Rose puffed a breath upwards that moved around a strand of her hair that had fallen into her face and let her back rest against the nearest building's wall. There was time to think about how she had ended up here later, but now all she wanted to know was where here was.

"Thought I was finished with this kind of thing. Guess that'll teach me."
