Who: Tamsin Applebee & Roger Davies
What: Mistletoe Challenge
Where: Diagon Alley
When: Tuesday afternoon
Rating/Status: PG-13 (for some language on Tamsin's part) & In progree

When Tamsin expressed to Oliver that it had been a real shitty week, that was very much an understatement. The Bats haven't been playing their best lately and Tamsin just can't understand why. As far as she knew, there wasn't any harsh feelings between players. They all seem to be getting along as well as they've always had. Unless Tamsin was part of the problem? There had been rumours going around that she wasn't happy with the team, which was complete and utter bullshit. As Tamsin stepped onto the paved road of Diagon Alley, she narrowed her eyes at the thought that she might be the problem. Surely her team would know that she loves every bit of being a Bat. Sure, she's disappointed they haven't been playing well but that's normal! They were so close to knocking out the Magpies out of first place and all of sudden they are now in third. It was enough to make anyone really irritated.

Tamsin side as she looked down the street. The whole reason Tamsin had arrived was to pick up a few things but she just wasn't feeling her best. Sure, health wise she was fit as a fiddle but there was something about today. She was just irritated, sad and even jealous. But she had to at least try to keep calm, it's one of the reason she decided to by a few scented candles, to help her relax. The Bats have a match tomorrow and everyone needed to be focused. If Tamsin couldn't find a way to relax, she won't be playing her best and that will only make the situations worse and she didn't want that. Taking a deep breath, Tamsin continued to walk down the street, then she felt someone brush past her. "Watch it." Tamsin replied irritably, she hadn't been looking so it was probably her fault but she didn't care at the moment.

In fact, all she cared about was the fact that the person wasn't moving and neither was she. Well that was just perfect. "What the sodding-" Then Tamsin paused when she had realized whom she was stuck with.

Roger was feeling much better after coming off the tail end of a sinus infection (as much as he didn’t want to admit it, he really did need the Pepper Up potion). Now, with his head clear and unstuffy the task of finally getting around to shopping for Christmas gifts moved to the top of his list, he’d put it off long enough and wanted to get started today, as the game tomorrow was sure to take up most of his time. First stop: Diagon Alley!

For a Tuesday afternoon the hidden magical street was bustling with activity and hurried last minute shoppers darting from shop to shop in various states of bad moods. A smirk found its way to Roger’s lips; he wasn’t the only one who had waited until last minute, it seemed. Deciding to pick up a nice bath set for his mum (who loved those silly scented candles) he strode off in the direction of Harmony Clovermist’s Magical Bath Boutique. Roger wasn’t really paying attention as he idly peered into the passing shop windows and this carelessness caused him to brush against someone.

“Sorry for that, mate.” He said, glancing over to see who he had come into contact with. Tamsin Applebee! “Oh, hey!” Roger attempted to take a small step back as to not invade her personal space but found he was unable to do so. “Erm, Tamsin, not that I mind you being so close but you can let go now.”

Tamsin rolled her eyes but let out a small laugh. "Honestly, Roger. If I could move don't you think I would have by now? I don't like you that much." Of course she was slightly teasing, she liked him well enough and despite her irritated tone, she was sure he would have noticed that she was only teasing.

"What the bloody fuck is going on." Tamsin said looking around. Then she heard someone giggle. Turning her head she saw a young girl. "What is it then?" Tamsin snapped. The girl looked taken back but she pointed something above their heads. Tamsin looked and saw that there was mistletoe. "Are you kidding me? That's why we're stuck?"

“Oh, don’t be silly Tamsin, you adore me.” Roger quipped back playfully, though careful not to tread too much into faux-egotistical territory as Tamsin didn’t seem in the best of moods today. Once more Roger tried to take a step back with vain hope they would come unstuck. No luck. A small sigh escaped him and he racked his brain trying to think of what could possibly cause this; Someone’s idea of a joke, perhaps? Some desperate journalist hexing them together so they can ambush them with a camera and make up a big story? Of course, none of these theories were shared out of fear Tamsin would react poorly.

His thoughts were disrupted by the giggle of a little girl. As she pointed up Roger looked up, puzzled for a moment as to what the hell was hanging over their heads. Then realization dawned on him. “Mistletoe… oh for fuck sake!” His exclamation was more of amusement than anything. Looking back down to his temporary Siamese twin, an offhanded shrug was offered. “So, fancy a snog then?” Kissing Tamsin wouldn’t be too difficult, though perhaps a little awkward on his part. After all, they’d known each other for years and Roger always considered her as one of the blokes.
