Who: Adrian and Emma
When: Friday Night
Where: Ade's Flat and then Pairs.
What: Christmas shopping / Date
Rating: TBA
Status: Incomplete

Well, he had said he was going to be doing something stupid. Taking Emma to Paris, spending the night in Nice, and Christmas shopping ... all the while having to go be completely honest. He was going to make a fool of himself. Hell, he'd already made a fool of himself over the journals. Merlin. He was in way over his head on this one and yet, he really hadn't stopped himself from moving forward. No matter what he said to himself or Terence, he couldn't help but want to spend time with her.

He hadn't needed to pack up anything as he had a collection of things available to him at his Mother's house, which left him plenty of time to think as he waited for Emma to arrive via the floo. Instead, he'd changed and collected his coat and wand. Now all he needed was Emma. As odd as it might seem, he was slightly nervous. It was something he would never admit to.

When the fire flared into the all to familiar green, Adrian stood from where he'd taken to reclining back against the couch.

Emma wasn't sure what to think of this whole expedition. The idea that Adrian Pucey wanted to date her was beyond comprehension but she was fairly certain he wasn't lying and while she was extremely nervous, she was a little excited. Of course, her insecurites were starting to get to her and she was beyond nervous. She'd never been on a date and what if Adrian expected... things? She wasn't capable of giving him anything like that. She'd never really even been snogged and while she knew that was strange for someone her age. She didn't think she'd ever want to be involved in anything of an intimate nature. Biting her lip, Emma tugged her hair and stepped into the floo, bag in hand. This was going to be awful.

The spinning and twirling left her a bit dizzy and she stumbled out of the fireplace, soot everywhere and coughing. She hated flooing. It was inconvenient and dirty. Looking up, her eyes wide and nervous, she gave Adrian a smile. Brushing the mess off her dress, she set her bag down and straightened her outfit. She'd come from work, not bothering to change into something a bit more casual. Well, for Emma, casual was trousers instead of a skirt or dress. But, she'd wanted to look nice.

"Hello," she said, tugging at her dress, straightening herself.

It would have made her feel better to know that he, too, was nervous. He'd been on a million and one dates and he'd never been nervous. It was a new experience for him and he wasn't entirely sure he liked it. When she stepped out of the fireplace, however, some his tension drained away at the sight of her. Really? How could anyone be intimidated by someone in polka dot tights. The image made a smile tug at the corner of his lips.

"Hi," he greeted, offering her an easy smile. Taking a step forward, he helf a hand out in an offer to take her bag for her. He was sure she could handle it herself, but it was the poliet thing to do. "How was work?"

He was almost afraid of the answer? He was still quite under the truth serumn and Merlin only knew the extent of the backlash from the lovely little rumour about the two of them. He supposed there was a grain of truth in it, but he certainly didn't appreciate the freely written details provided to the public. Details, he himself, wasn't even aware of.
